Roots blower is a double rotor compression machine, and the axes of the two rotors are parallel to each other. The rotor is composed of impeller and shaft.There are small gaps between impeller and impeller, impeller and casing and wallboard to avoid mutual contact and friction. The two groups of rotors are driven by the prime mover through a pair of synchronous gears and rotate at constant speed in opposite directions.

pneumatic conveying




Roots blowers transport gas or particles by capturing air or gas and compressing it in the housing of wheel gears. The principle of pneumatic conveying of Roots fan is as follows:

1. Suction air: The air is sucked in by the Roots blower through the intake and brought to the workshop between the two gears.

2. Compressed gas: With the rotation of the gear, the volume between the two gears continues to shrink, so that the air is compressed and the gas is pushed out of the machine.

3. Conveying gas: When the Roots blower compresses the gas, the compressed air will be driven to flow, so as to achieve the purpose of gas conveying.

4. Release gas: When the compressed air reaches the outlet, the air is released, and driven by the high-speed gas flow, it is pushed into the pipeline to achieve the transportation of gas.

It should be noted that the Roots blower can not be used for pneumatic conveying of hard materials, and the pneumatic conveying of granular materials needs to be used together with other equipment.

Bearing	The bearing adopts large-sized heavy bearing. The double end oil lubricated bearing adopts splash lubrication mode, and the oil splashes onto the bearing for lubrication through the rotation of gear or oil slinger; The drive end bearing of single oil tank fan is grease lubricated, and the gear end bearing is oil lubricated, using splash lubrication.
Elastic joint	The elastic joint installed on the unit can eliminate the influence of external vibration transmission and thermal deformation of the unit, and facilitate the installation of pipes.
Safety valve	It can protect the blower for a short time of overload
Check valve	High pressure gas return protection can be provided for the blower, but the gas return cannot be completely blocked
Pressure gauge	The exhaust pressure of the unit can be displayed at any time, and the vacuum gauge can display the inlet vacuum of the unit at any time
Synchronous gear	The synchronous gear is the most important part of the fan, which is made of chrome manganese titanium alloy steel with sufficient strength; The gear is finely ground with a special gear grinder, and the gear is lubricated with oil bath.Precise straight synchronous gear is adopted, with reliable positioning, stable operation, low noise, high strength and long service life
