What is Roots Blower?
Roots blower is a positive displacement blower, which relies on the change of the studio volume formed by the two shape of the involute "8" shape rotor when rotating to transport gas, its working principle is the same as the gear pump, that is, each rotor is equivalent to only two teeth of the gear.
Roots blower is a volumetric rotary blower. The compressor relies on synchronous gears at the end of the rotor shaft to keep the two rotors engaged. Each concave surface part of the rotor and the inner wall of the cylinder form the working volume, in the rotor rotation process from the suction port to take away the gas, when moved to the exhaust port near the exhaust port connected to the instantaneous, because of the higher pressure of the gas return, then the pressure in the working volume suddenly rises, and then the gas is transported to the exhaust channel. The two rotors do not touch each other, and the gap between them is tightly controlled to achieve seal, so the discharged gas is not polluted by lubricating oil.
Its biggest feature is that when the pressure is adjusted within the allowable range, the flow rate changes little, the pressure selection range is wide, and it has the characteristics of forced gas transmission. The medium does not contain oil during transportation. Simple structure, easy maintenance, long service life, small vibration of the whole machine.
