Working principle of three-phase asynchronous motor
The conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy is realized by the interaction between rotor and stator of three-phase asynchronous motor through magnetic field. When the three-phase AC power supply is switched on, a rotating magnetic field will be generated in the stator coil, which will drag the rotor to operate.
During the operation of the rotor, the induced electromotive force is generated in the rotor due to the impedance inside the conductor. According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, the size of the induced electromotive force is proportional to the rate of magnetic flux change, proportional to the number of turns of the conductor, and inversely proportional to the time constant. Because the speed at which the rotor operates is constantly changing, the size of the induced electromotive force is also constantly changing, resulting in an induced current on the rotor.
